Not even close to finished, but functional. I've adjusted the action and pickup height and its sounding nice. Got some time to play it before finishing the wood.
The fret markings are really hard to see, gonna need to do something about that.

It's looking a bit Spinal Tap, but it works. I shortened the D and G flatwound strings to but it on another bass and they won't reach the machine heads anymore. Whoops, new strings required...

Scrolled through my timeline to find it's actually been a year since I've done any major work on the fretless. I bought the pickups I wanted for it. It's still going to be a long time before I can get my plans for the body done, so I've decided to string it up and do a sound test.

The Acapulco Gold is the nastiest fuzz ever. The big dial is just volume and it doesn't need to go high at all. Fortunately an EQ pedal straight after is great for shaping the sound.

Got a new pedal on the way so I managed to make space for it and integrate the mono synth onto the board without overcomplicating anything.

Just go for it. I've put even more stickers on my laptop since this and I've always thought it looked great. I put a little thought into it, but I've yet to regret a sticker placement.
If your stuff gets stolen, you'll have no problem identifying it, even if they try to tear the stickers off.

I've been working on these since I had the Vintera (which I'm happy to find the shop has already sold).
I plan to make another one for the Jazz with some changes. The current one isn't quite high enough to be of benefit.
