Made it even better. Now instead of rendering player 2 times(depth and final color) it renders background at half a resolution and overlays player on top through depth pass.
I just need to figure out how to make render target unfiltered so I could add dither effect.

They might have been scammed. I ran it through 2 image detectors and they showed same result. Even when looking at the image by itself there are some inconsistencies with outlines.

Here is how I did it.
Turning off fine detection makes it detect not by pixel but by object's bounds. If detected depending on player's direction player is moved away from the wall.
In the end there is actually less logic.
It works, it just works.
