My initial reaction is to mistake the sand grains for boulders and expect the character to take one to the face and go flying. I assume I could get used to it fairly quickly after working out what was going on.
Like the increase in intensity though.

I think it's fairly clear it's a card game, as long as the player knows that card games are a thing in your world.

I've just picked Tsushima back up again myself. At least as a PC player, I might actually get round to finishing it before Yotei becomes available.
