The babies in a tub! I have picked the 20 largest babies and moved them to a larger tank. Also I have culled approximately 10 that had some disfiguration. The rest go into a 90 liter tub to keep growing. I had chat gpt count them and it says approximately 150 #goldfish #fishbreeding #fancygoldfish

He was struggling with swim bladder disorder so he was constantly at the surface, belly up
No local vets were willing to help. His skin was getting irritation as it got exposed to air. I had tried all regular options: salt, peas, gel food, soaked pellets, less protein. So i tried draining air.

Don't pin them under rocks though because they will rot due to lack of oxygen. Also remember not to cover the large rizome with sand or gravel. Only the small roots should be digged in.

We all have that box with cables and converters that we never use, but can't get rid of, in case we may need some of it..

DIY goldfish food with the new blender!
Shrimp, cod, broccoli, peas, kelp and spirulina. I use agar agar to jellify. It holds in the fridge for a week or who, but i freeze the rest and take out for a week at a time

Oranda goldfish is now done. What goldfish will come next, I wonder? For it is inevitable.
First time properly using Fabriano and I really rather enjoyed it. Bit more texture to work with, but the end result grew on me - going to test this paper out a lot more.

Update on the new fish!
One sadly did not make it. The remaining are doing pretty well but one of the telescopes is spending too much time at the surface. Will try to see if there is anything to be done with salt and epsom salt

New fish arrived. Bred and shipped from Italy! Very excited to get them! They'll move into a slightly salted quarantine until they get settled. They will then be moved into the other tanks!
