It's giving...and I love it!

Do they really run their own social media or does everything they post have to go through a team of people? Side thought: do celebrities who do film/television watch YouTube and who do they like? Like guilty pleasures?

So my girls and I talk about this a lot (we love Beauty and the Beast). We speculate that the rose "blooms" until his 21st birthday and then the petals fall off (really slow). So he was older than 11 but currently not much older than Belle who I think is 19 in the movie? That's our theory.

One if by land, two if by sea, and three if the call is coming from inside the house.

I read somewhere that a person has started using, "I will kill you on this hill." instead of, "I will die on this hill." They explained it was a different take but one that felt better for them because why should you die, their point is dumb. It's aggressive but I've started using it as well.

I read a book called Bringing Up Bebe when I was pregnant with my first 13/14 years ago (about parenting in France). The author talked about bringing her 3 or 4 year old to a birthday party. She said she dropped her daughter off and picked her up a couple of hours later. 1/2

Parent in a reddish/purple state here! I just watched and will share with my 8th grader. Our BOE just eliminated DEI and the one change they made to the sex ed program was eliminating sexual orientation and gender identity. The video touches on these in an eye opening way. Looking forward to more.

Yup! I was looking at it as well and I see my Dr in a couple of weeks so I can switch. And it's not like...a little less...some are almost half the price I pay!

Which I do think contributed to (dare I say it), a "Joe Rogan" phenomenon, which allows people to go, "it sounds plausible." Their brain remembers something from high school science and then they see a study done and go, that kinda makes sense. Especially when paired with a catchy headline. 2/2

I would be interested in a refresher on science and how it "works." Like the scientific method, theory, hypothesis, double blind vs meta analysis, and also how science and medicine conduct experiments and trials and why it needs to be repeatable. I think some of those basics have been lost. 1/2

Will you all be able to have your phones with you during the SOTU? Record and stream it live, if the group plans to do something (like walk out one by one or en masse). I think traditional media is compromised and won't show any "act of defiance" from the Democrats.

The best analogy I saw about politics/candidates is something along the lines of, "a candidate is not a direct flight." Even if you can't get a candidate that checks EVERY one of your boxes, get one that checks most. Get on the bus or plane going the closest to your destination. We will get there.

It feels like his only experience with transportation is driving the RV on Road Rules. Like wtf?

I don't watch television anymore...and I don't do new movies much either. My daughters like family movie nights on Fridays and Saturdays so we do that. I think it would be awesome to see some movies again for the first time.

I heard someone say they tell Drs "my period is regular and I have no concerns," in response to when asked for the date of your last mental period. I asked my daughters pediatrician what I need to tell her and she looked at me and said, "you don't have to tell me anything." Paper tracking for us.
