Good morning. Greetings from Belgrade 🙂

I’ve already made my points. Still waiting for you to make a cogent one
April 1, 2025 at 12:07 AM
It’s you that embodies “simplistic arrogance”. You’re all worked up about something you can’t even articulate. You can’t articulate it because it’s incoherent nonsense at its core
April 1, 2025 at 12:06 AM
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you mean by “it’s the amount $$$$”

I see that you’re angry, but your anger is incoherent

Who’s making albertans mad over nonsensical nonsense?

Also, federal corporate tax rates are the same for all corporations in Canada.
March 31, 2025 at 11:48 PM
That was in response to your “Not just income tax, which is significantly higher than any other region.” Utterly baseless claim
March 31, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Income tax rates are the same for all Canadians
March 31, 2025 at 11:26 PM
What “other revenue”. Resource royalty stays in Alberta. Are you talking about workers that come to work on the oil patch? That’s a bit of mental gymnastics there because those are also workers you need.
March 31, 2025 at 11:25 PM
But it can’t be significantly higher when Alberta’s population is 2/3 that of one city. It doesn’t even pass the sniff test
March 31, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Just taxes working normally, as intended. - people with higher salaries pay more
March 31, 2025 at 11:02 PM
However, these transfer payment which to to Quebec are also financed by Quebec taxpayers. They are funded by all taxpayers and all taxpayers pay the same federal rates.

It’s really buffoons getting worked up over something that’s mostly imaginary and th kernel of truth that it’s based on is
March 31, 2025 at 11:01 PM
They work themselves up over “transfer payments” to other provinces without understanding how they work and many incorrect believe they their province is sending them to other provinces, mostly Ontario and Quebec.
March 31, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Many albertans are furious about this imaginary thing and many other Canadians mostly just laugh at them because it’s ridiculous
March 31, 2025 at 10:59 PM
*rounding-error-sized amount
March 31, 2025 at 10:57 PM
Albertans have a slightly higher average wage and therefore pay a slightly higher average tax. Many albertans have been convinced that this rounding error amounts to them subsidizing the whole country

(Alberta’s population is 2/3 that of Toronto, Canada’s biggest city)
March 31, 2025 at 10:55 PM
*passes tissue*
March 31, 2025 at 8:56 PM
But the rest of your post is correct, I forgot to say
March 31, 2025 at 8:20 PM
I don’t know how to explain it better than I already have. Sorry
March 31, 2025 at 8:19 PM
You can see from his later response that it’s not rhetorical but financial illiteracy
March 31, 2025 at 8:18 PM
If your house drops in value, no one “took the money”. Same thing here.
March 31, 2025 at 6:45 PM
That doesn’t rebut the argument, it reinforces it. He can’t serve in the role but isn’t forbidden from running.
March 31, 2025 at 4:50 PM
“Basket of deplorables”. Impolitic but accurate
January 28, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Man, oh man, am I excited by your candidacy. I've never been so excited for a civic byelection!
