Taki, this is a wonderful UI uplift. You and your team are doing amazing work for the entire community! That said, I was wondering if it would be possible to add some kind of "window mode" into the UI. Imagine setting a busy background, but placing borders around game list/boxart with opaque fill.

Interesting thought, however the use case I am thinking of is being able to boot and use FireWire devices with vintage Apple computers, PPC G3/G4/G5. Performance is less of a concern, and compatibility is only of importance

Yes! With Linux could use different storage backings. I would want to integrate this solution with a raspberry pi if possible
