It is indeed a shit show, but one that the vast majority of farmers supported when they voted for Trump. This was all knowable before the election. But the 70 most rural counties in the country voted overwhelmingly for Trump. They should obtain no special relief now from that which they supported.

Senator: notwithstanding the TRO, there is still no access to funds. For example, a colleague is reporting this morning that the HUD funds drawdown system remains closed and unavailable. I fear the Trump Admin is ignoring the court’s order.
