Gather step.

I’ve always felt The Shield’s greatest legacy was its ending. Thematically consistent, satisfying, emotionally profound, and ties everything off without seeming artificial. Just a brilliant feat of storytelling and filmmaking.

Linen! My sets from BedThreads have been outstanding. You’ll never want to go back to cotton.

He’s not just a “social media user,” he’s a candidate for President. There’s an expectation (or there was previously, at least) of closer scrutiny, and of reading intent into such signal-boosting. And/but it’s just not being done for Trump; just more evidence he gets to play by different rules.

That sounds an awful lot like socialism, sir…

This makes total sense: “at around 15” is when their taste regimes, and their target audiences’, calcified.

I dunno man, this baby has legs.

…at least til impact.

I was going to reply with the canonical follow-up, but uhh maybe not.

Truck is unloading pretty quickly, to my untrained eye.
November 14, 2023 at 8:32 PM
Suppose a closed box, with a baby inside. While unobserved, quantum theory suggests the baby is in a superposition of both Christian and un-Christian.
November 14, 2023 at 8:21 PM
That is pretty typical Christian behaviour, to be fair.

Does the baby not understand suicide is a mortal sin?

Not a sentence I thought I’d write this year, but here we are.

Truck has been filled, brought to new building. Unloading begins. I am guarding the open door like an earthbound gargoyle. My main challenge is to resist the urge to feel guilty that professionals I’m paying to move heavy things are moving those heavy things without my assistance.

That’s much more confounding, if just because 2018 was ten years post-iPhone. I remember I was vaguely relieved the client hadn’t faxed over the marked up printout…

The greatest trick men ever pulled was convincing the world anger isn’t an emotion.

When would it be appropriate to go check on progress? Or do I stay resolved to relinquish control here? Rationally, the latter… but it’s so difficult!!

I recently learned the astonishing fact that, even after more than a century, the swimming pools on the Titanic are still full of water.
November 14, 2023 at 6:35 PM
So the Christian Baby Trolley Problem then
November 14, 2023 at 6:25 PM
Wait is the opposing pitcher ALSO a Christian baby?
November 14, 2023 at 6:16 PM
This sounds like the sort of prop bet I’d find on any sportsbook tbh
November 14, 2023 at 6:06 PM
We haven’t even approached the question of where the pitcher got the Christian baby, and how they mistook it for a baseball!
