I had one in my chicken coop one day

Been a rough week for my flock. Lost a rooster yesterday, he was elderly and not well.

Today, I lost Treestache, who died valiantly defending his ladies from a group of 12 Harris Hawks.

Not even a joke.

Evidently, he wounded one.
