You just described armorycrate to me perfectly too along with iCue.
I love PC gaming as a hobby, I cant stand some of the absolute shitshow software they throw at people though and expect you to use it.
Steelseries software is also a minefield at times.

Oh I actually hate iCue with every soul I possess, it would boot up then crash, meaning all my RGB would just semi-work, I would have to task manage it, force close, then start the software again, coin flip if it worked or not.
Started using signalRGB instead recently, absolute godsend.

That board is a solid pick, was absolutely up there with my choices when I got a new board.
