Saw someone else do something similar, and I am absolutely geeky enough to have pinched this idea for my study.

Now for clarity, do you mean first post, as in the one your responded to, which was correct, your first post, where you called seeking asylum "illegal immigration", which, as I think we have established, is false as not illegal, or my response pointing that out and why you are wrong, also not false

Someone is getting lots of cuddles with all the fireworks going off. Okay it's me, but Siyah is doing a good job of giving them.

Yes I am grumpy, and it is just me being grumpy, but I really, passionately, hate fireworks. In honour of November 5th though, here's my rocket, not a euphemism.

Well, this is...not good. This looks like two prisoners were mistakenly released, so why the main focus on the immigration status of one, and not the utter cluster of the whole situation. The system "worked" as far as arrests go. Immigration status is irrelevant here.

Trying to manifest some positive energy for Samhain, maybe a little late, before the rain ruins the fire. I am going to need a lot more sage based on....well everything

Change UK would like a word about facing reality.
Nice to have ambitions I guess, but probably for the best if they are kept realistic, you know, maybe something like still existing as a party in six months time.

Hey, I guess under Trump's new refugee rules he could always claim asylum at the White House.

Good! Too often, and while Home Office is spectacularly bad at this it isn't just limited to them, children are mis-aged and placed in unsuitable, at times down right dangerous, places, because people without proper understanding base age on looks. Maybe financial penalties will help change that. 1/

This case has always shown the farcical, and inhumane, nature of the Home Office, across multiple governments and Home Secretaries. A scared kid messes up on their claim and it takes 26 years to accept they should have been provided with asylum from the start

Not only is Labour weakening protections for trafficking and modern slavery victims in order to push its one in one out policy, as explained when launched, the policy itself will increase the number of people being trafficked, something we have already seen with at least one person coming back to UK

Labour going even further on weakening protections for modern slavery and trafficking victims. When your government is worse on areas of migrants rights than Theresa May it's time to question what you're doing. You definitely can't pretend to be the "progressive".

There's no excuse for using camps to place people seeking asylum. They have already been shown to cause more stress and trauma. They're inhumane, more expensive, and still lead to protests. They are the worst of all worlds. #r4today

There is no silver bullet to reducing the number of people stuck in hotels, but by fast tracking claims and providing asylum for those from high grant rate countries, providing those seeking asylum with the right to work, and investing in community schemes this government could make a difference.

Worth mentioning, there's nothing illegal about seeking asylum. Indeed the need for those doing so to use irregular routes is recognised in law, provided they present themselves, as they have to, to seek asylum to the relevant authorities. This is a grotesquely misleading comment by the Home Office.
