For neurodivergent kids - and adults - a focus on communication, compassion, and patience is paramount. Yearning to feel connected and understood, yet struggling with communication is the source of so much struggle.

When dad was alive, he relied on dialysis before a transplant was possible. We were fortunate dad had easy access, and I hope the people in this article can also access the care they need with the dignity and peace of mind they deserve.
