Has anyone else read Orbital? Interested in hearing others' thoughts.

Currently reading it and it is beautifully written but very different to any novel I've read in terms of story structure...

What can you do?

Premier League game against an inform team and your rightback decides to lose the ball three times in a row - you haven't really got a chance have you?

Best fighting games of all time?

I'm looking to play a Street Fighter/Tekken but get the satisfaction of unlocking loads of characters!!!

Any recommendations?

Some absolutely bangers in that game, never in doubt. Love the 5-3-2! #AVFC

In May 1998, India conducted five nuclear tests. Weeks later, Pakistan followed with their own tests.

In response, artist Nalini Malani who was born a year before partition (1947), created an exhibition in Mumbai expressing her 'despair' at the events.

I don't physically know if I can watch Villa v Brentford today, it's like some of the form under Steven Gerrard where I feel like the result is totally pre-determined

Kinshasa, DRC in 2013, these robocops were placed to control traffic and prevent accidents.

Its inventor, Therese, told @meganjonesjourno.bsky.social

A look back at the moment an Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at President George W Bush in 2008

It was in protest of America's occupation of Iraq.

Bush was in Baghdad to agree terms of withdrawal.

Thought Villa were excellent.

VAR ruined a great moment by overanalysing that disallowed goal too much.

Standard competition for the goal that the keeper lost. #AVFC

Feels so weird seeing a Manchester City team look so hopeless

Wonder what it is? Is it just harder to be motivated when you win that many trophies?

Who remembers Siegfried & Roy?

They owned many rare big cats and had them come on stage stage during magic performances for decades

Eventually, in 2003, one of them attacked.

I edited together this vid, but I urge a listen to podcast...
