Wow! LOL. I had to look up half those names because apparently I’m old.
At this point, I’d take a whole cast of muppets if it meant telling the story right. Of course that might make Azral a little less scary than intended. Or more scary. It depends on the muppet.

Sorry. I tried to include as much recap information as I could inside the book and on my website, but seven years is still a damn long time. You're doing the right thing by restarting.

Actually, not too many. If the gods had seen fit to give us a matching trilogy, I'm sure there would have been more. But Book 2 was never released in softcover and Book 3 has skipped the hardcover stage.
But hey, at least we got the same awesome narrator for all three audiobooks!
