It was a year before I moved into his Mums place with him. I was starting my PGCE and had to give up my job so I had no income. He graciously offered me a place, stayed there for a year and a half and moved into our own place last year :) x

I have this awful habit of watching videos online of cats who have been abused/abandoned and then rescued, and it makes me so sad that I have to go and cuddle Taylor immediately because I love her so much.

It can be difficult. I work in an SEMH school so the kids often don't understand how hurtful being homophobic is, but my aim is for them to see being gay as something natural that shouldn't be seen as something it's not. Most of my students know I'm gay and I've had 3 of them come out to me :) x
