With the new Community feature that launched yesterday, I can not only post to my socials but also respond to comments and stay engaged without constantly running the risk of getting lost in the feed.

Game changer. I've already gone through a bunch of comments without opening my socials once.

Until yesterday, Buffer helped with the posting side. You could schedule and post without the risk of distraction by going on the actual platform. Now things just got way better.

So I'm torn between:
• Learning a tool like Play (for iOS) - createwithplay.com
• Building with code (Claude + native SDKs)
Play · Design and ship mobile apps with the power of iOS & SwiftUI
Play is a collaborative tool that lets you design, prototype, and ship your apps. Use real native elements & materials, Apple's native gestures & Core Animation, and ship directly to Xcode.

Figma isn't cutting it for the fidelity I need i.e. animations, gestures, microinteractions, etc. and Liquid Glass styling has made everything sluggish.

But mostly, it's a testament to how solid teamwork across various fronts can move mountains:

• Tight designer collaboration on Popcorn (the foundations underneath Popcorn To Go).
• High trust collaboration between product, design & engineering to bring things to life.

It marks the end of years of our design team having to work on mobile designs by patching up screenshots, eliminating hours of manual design work that used to slow us down.

One trick I discovered is that I can easily add an audio track to a video by opening the audio-less video in QuickTime and dropping the MP3 track in. And voila, you're done! ✨

I've tried the obvious tricks, like duplicating the frame and relinking to make sure all elements match. 🤔

Basically, I'm using 'Smart Animate' to switch from light mode to dark mode. Almost everything transitions smoothly, except for the colors of some text and icons, which switch abruptly at the end of the animation.
