I'm often insecure about my cinematic blind spots, so I'm surprised I've seen 92 of the NYT's top 100 movies of the 21st century. Possibly 93. I might have seen "Best in Show" but can't remember for sure, so I put it down as a no.
Surprised not to see "United 93" anywhere on their list.

I'm not a music dork, per se, but this one is surely up there. Fiona Apple's "Fetch the Bolt Cutters" came 26 years after "Tidal," and it's arguably her best work. A shame we usually have to wait so long between Apple albums, but they've always been worth the wait.

Finished "Dragon Age: Inquisition" after about 80 hours of gameplay. Understood maybe 30% of the story, but at least I finally made a good choice of love interests. Wish I knew how to quit you, Dorian!

In the middle of #Adolescence on Netflix. I'm usually not a fan of one-continuous-shot showboating. It can be distracting and gimmicky. But this show is so elegantly choreographed and written that the camera remains unobtrusive the story flows naturally.
