For the vinyl release of “Rabbit Songs” we’re doing everything we can to go directly from the original 1/2” tapes to the lathe; analog to analog. Today, we finally unearthed the original mixes for “Sailor” (once thought lost). A very good day!

What a show! Just saw Chris Staples playing the most intimate rooftop concert you can imagine. Such a beautiful night of great songs!

Always exciting to work in a new recording studio in NYC, especially since so many have closed in the last 10 years. Thanks to “Samurai Hotel” samuraihotel.com in Astoria, Queens, for hosting us. 9 new songs underway!

I know I usually post about music & theatre, but check out our latest rescue’s ‘glow-up’. When “Colonel” first showed up on our doorstep, he was in so much pain he couldn’t even eat. Now he’s playing like a kitten, and looks like a million bucks. Life is nothing if not resilient.

Seeing this tonight! Note: seeing Audra McDonald star in Gypsy is the musical-theatre nerd equivalent of attending a Star Wars world premiere.

Talk about range, Nicholas Christopher blew me away when he stepped into Sweeney Todd, and now he’s killing it as Seymour in Little Shop. One of the most impressive back-to-back performances I’ve ever seen!
