You think if he were dying he'd waste precious time on the suckers who hitched their wagon to him?
He's just reassuring people who might have qualms about committing crimes in his name, because he's going to be asking the to commit a whole lot more.

What is the deal with the failed Dem VP candidate-to-national disappointment pipeline? Lieberman, Edwards, and now Kaine?

It's murder regardless. Even if these people were flying a flag that said "HEROIN $3.50/oz" in huge block letters and plead guilty to it at trial, that's not a capital offense.

Seems like the author just really fundamentally doesn't understand what LLMs are or what they do.

Peter Thiel has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Stanford and a JD from Stanford Law, and the person who most heavily influenced him at Stanford was Rene Girard, an anthropologist.
Mark Zuckerberg was a dual major in CS and Psychology at Harvard before dropping out.
Don't put this on STEM.

He's going to sign an executive order changing every word in the English language to "Trump" like in *The Dictator*, isn't he?

I read the screenshot first and your commentary second, and, yes, I really needed the Oxford comma there. But also, the show that existed in my imagination for a minute would probably be far better than any of the three shows actually described here.

(and even if they *can* legitimately be credited with figuring out the structure of DNA, that doesn't necessarily mean they knew anything about genetics beyond what Mendel could have told them.)

Did those guys actually know anything about genetics? From most of the accounts I've read, they just went around asking different experts their ideas and then went back home and tried building them with an erector set because they were too dumb to work out the math on paper.

So they named a guy after two people who lead a violent revolution and then kept him enslaved? Seems like they were pretty much asking for it at that point.
Excellent work by Mr. Washington here.

Man, I just read up on the guy and his life is wild. Studied film at Columbia, became the director of a film studies department in London, married an American single mother, got addicted to drugs and lost his job, and now they live off of the yoga classes she teaches.

I mean, he *was* gay. I just never understood why he was considered so archetypically gay, as opposed to, say, Paul Lynde.

Maybe as a straight I will just never get this, but I know a lot of gay people and not a single one has an aesthetic I can only describe as "Count Dracula if he married into the Swarovski family."

I mean, it's not a matter of time passing, though. Classic rock is from the 1950s and 1960s. In 500 years, classic rock will still be rock from the 1950s and 1960s. It's not a function of how old it is.

This is a pretty wild framing. I feel like if this article was being written 10+ years ago it would focus on the fact that someone lost the primary and is running against his party's nominee in the general.

I wonder what would happen if you bought a roll of transparent gecko tape that was as wide as the cards and just applied it to the front and back.

I'm assuming these are the same sort of thing as playing cards? Perhaps they could be made in such a way that they're less prone to sliding around, by making them heavier or rougher or something. Maybe even something like velcro.
