Within a few hours many people responded saying they felt the same, so I coordinated a last minute family friendly No Kings neighborhood protest ✊🏽🪧 I know the feeling of intimidation is intentional & at the same time, this was a good middle ground for me to exercise my rights in a safer environment.

Yesterday I posted in my local mom’s Facebook group about wanting to go to the Texas capital for the No Kings protest to fight for a better future for my kids, but at the same time as a mom I also felt concerned about my safety knowing the national guard was called & the nonexistent gun laws in TX…🧵
