So good to see copies of @lalouverouge.bsky.social's Solidarity with Children available on the shelves 📚 One of the best and most transformative reads of my 2025 - I encourage everyone to read it.

Honestly, this 👇🏽 Return to Silent Hill is v flawed, but it's also not deserving of vitriol. The impeccable games still stand, and I dug what this film tries to do with the lore of the town.

The Silent Hill games mean a whole lot to me, and it'll always be a joy to see that world on the big screen.

currently reading: Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker 🗽

two-thirds of the way in, and this book is shaping up to be one of the best horror novels of the 2020s. i can feel an article about it cooking up at the back of my brain as i read - about the writing of pandemics, precarity, grief, and solidarity.

"Choosing what to read, by the way, doesn't have to be an intellectual conundrum or canonical or chronological, it can be elemental." - one of my favourite quotes from @jencalleja.bsky.social's small but mighty Goblinhood 💚

Special time seeing three of Matthew Hopper's short films, including the premiere of Elephant w/ @aliwoods.bsky.social, earlier today 🎟 Each one had a valuable perspective on masculinity - thinking about how men relate to one another, and asking how they can express their vulnerabilities.
