Litigation can be time consuming, confusing, and expensive. I wrote a short article to help identify what “good litigation” looks like:

What makes a great Litigation Attorney (and how to spot one) – BizWest
Contracts fall apart. Partnerships go sideways. Disputes happen. And when they do, every business leader knows the next step: call legal. But here’s the real question — do you know what good litigatio...

An elected official accepting a 747 from a foreign country is so flamboyantly illegal that any news outlet characterizing it as "controversial" or "an ethical issue" should be ignored, have their subscriptions canceled and their reporters banned as TV pundits forever. This isn't close.

100%.
So, which is it?

If this info wasn’t classified, that in itself would be a scandalous screw-up that must be explained.

And if it was classified, then the Trump administration lied to Congress and to the American people.

I’ve been suggesting on TV and podcasts—without actual evidence(!)—that it may turn out that DOJ will wind up not having enough lawyers to defend all the lawsuits challenging this administration’s illegal conduct.

Turns out it seems already to be true. 👉

Dealing With Distorted Truth

Normalization of “alternative facts” weakens the rule of law and threatens democratic institutions.

Lying, controlling access to information, spinning falsehoods that better suit their narrative are strategies dictators and authoritarians use to solidify their power.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Banned/challenged books are often difficult reads with jarring content, but we can't shield ourselves nor our children from the realities of the world forever - it's better to build empathy and understanding through books, especially by reading books by/about marginalized people.
