The problem is as the game has become a business, which is shit, international football doesn't have the value club does so governing bodies try to close that gap which just means more games played in dodgy regimes. It's all a massive bullshit bubble that is bound to implode at some point

I'd do it for the Carabao. And if we ever made it to the absolute doldrums of the UEFA conference league I would be dancing all night if we took that home.

That's even on the unlikely possibility that a union would even consider suggesting strike action with 3/1000 staff represented by them.

Points per game only works if there are 3 other bad teams anyway. I get increasingly bemused that that was the target all along- has been enough usually because promoted teams don't get anywhere near or someone has imploded.

It's not about more time as a concept more to me that I don't think the squad we have is enough. So who is getting more from this? Probably won't be Southampton levels of awfulness but also not nearly enough .

The season is playing out as the transfer window suggested it would. Managed to bring in building blocks but nothing to build on them. I try to stay away from reactive opinions but I think there have been enough games played to suggest we don't have enough in the squad to be able to stay up.
