The Copilot comeback is definitely not getting the attention it deserves. There's marginal differences between it and Cursor these days.

I wonder if them opensourcing it did the trick or if Github doubled down on it internally. But bravo folks. Respect 👏

If instead of trying to make LLMs smarter they instead tried to make them cheaper/faster, it would be an equally valuable leap forward.

I wonder how many AI startups would go from being in the red to profitability overnight.

I just shipped 'Actions' so you can compose Codemods with version bumps, file system changes etc. Let's you generate more complex and mergable PRs.

(Yes it's freezing cold in Sydney RN)

WOW incredible to see the delta!

In case it helps, I'm exposing codemods from the e18e.dev community here www.hypermod.io/blog/8-e18e
🪶 48% Leaner

Less than half the size of Storybook 8, with a much, much smaller and flatter dependency tree. That means less conflicts in your node_modules and a faster install.

Thanks to our friends at @e18e.dev for their guidance!

My goal for the agent is to make campaigns out of existing or generated codemods/fs commands.

1 Share a migration guide from the web
2 Agent creates a plan to get it there
3 Might be bumping deps, moving files around etc.
4 Then execute the steps declaratively (free and fast to do at scale),

Hypermod Agent cooked up a codemod for when Gen Z-ers start pushing slop to our repos. I'm ready.

Nice to knock this one off the backlog in an arvo. People can now run Codemods on the library via CLI.

The virality-factor of Twitter seems almost completely dead.

Not sure if it’s a pay to win world now or if most of the audience has just left 🤔.

(Could also be that my tweets are bad lol)

Hypermod's free codemod library is growing!

Really wanted to expose the great work the maintainers of the e18e & es-tooling communities as part of the platform, I believe these initiatives are incredibly important to the JS ecosystem! Credit to @passle.dev & Co.!

Looking into running ads for the first time (I have no idea what I'm doing). My gut tells me this doesn't hit the mark.

Anyone out there have feedback for me?

I yearn for RenovateBot which also migrates your code

Getting humbled by a unit test today. Even Cursor is looking at me like WTF are we going to do?
