These reports aren't saying you should stop enjoying your Switch 2's display, even if you don't notice the problems with it. Rather, you should be mindful of them and hope that they can be addressed via System Updates as that will only make your experience better!

Sidenote, the poor HDR performance is disappointing, but frankly, not surprising, given that there are a lot of gaming monitors that have gotten an HDR certification even though they don't have the capability to properly display true HDR. Fake HDR displays are not a new phenomenon

There are good things about the display, such as the VRR support, 120Hz support (slow response times aside) and the overall higher colour volume (even if it makes Switch 1 games oversaturated). But motion handling is very important for a gaming display, and Nintendo dropped the ball there

Conserving battery life by not activating a panel overdrive seems like a fair reason as to why the response times are slow, but I would like to see Nintendo add the option to activate overdrive if possible. Switch 2 battery life is already not great, so I wouldn't expect the option to ever come
