On Halloween, a day for family and community, Trump, Bovino, and ICE/CBP are abducting our neighbors and assaulting protestors. We will not accept this. I urge you to sign up, get trained, join a rapid response team and be a part of the effort to keep our neighbors safe.

I'm still reflecting on this conversation with my friend Kelly Cassidy. Republicans have ripped away the rights of people to make decisions about their own bodies. That's why we've got to double down on keeping IL strong as a critical access point for abortion care.

As a Senator, I helped to pass the Illinois Secure Choice program, providing hundreds of thousands of Illinoisans a shot at a dignified retirement. This set a precedent, with almost 20 other states following suit.
