Ain't it amazing, the peace and quiet
I use AI to write stuff. I write as a hobby sometimes and AI let's me focus on what I want to say instead of the 'how'. That being said, I started to avoid the em dash, it's just embarrassing at this point.

Language learning apps. I thought it'd be the first market disrupted by LLMs yet I haven't seen a great execution of AI so far. But I'd definitely pay for one.

When I started ~10 years ago, it took me years to get comfortable in the ecosystem and codebase I worked on.
If I had an LLM back then and could ask targeted questions about both the codebase and the tech, I could’ve done it in less than a year.
It doesn't take years anymore to nurture talent.

The end user does not care who does the AI heavy lifting but technically most of these companies are simply AI-resellers. Some are very good at that, I also pay for many. But if you think of them as resellers, it is no surprise why most of these companies are marketing focused.

If you are an AI startup because you call a service that implements some advanced AI, I am an AI engineer because I sold things on Amazon.

LinkedIn has the data and resources to connect and prescreen best-fit candidates to companies. Instead, they simply don't care.

Job search is the worst search experience of the modern days full of barely irrelevant sponsored results. The feed is filled with recommended posts of the same react, css pro tricks AI-dumped by dev influencer wannabes.

LinkedIn is a platform I always felt had immense potential at the same time keeps on failing in every single aspect.

AI is the ultimate learning tool and an amazing productivity tool but I'm yet to see a guy telling AI is going to take over without shilling something-AI in his bio.
