Some good news -- while greenhouse gas emissions haven't (yet!) completely peaked, many other forms of air pollution have.

Now we need to keep going, and drive down all emissions -- greenhouse gases included -- to zero.
Bit of good news for your weekday: our species has probably passed "peak pollution" based on data from Our World in Data, so don't listen to all the (dubiously funded) doom merchants.
Heck, moving to renewable energy and electric transport will be worth it for the clean air alone.
