First 2025 paper available in open access :). In this paper, we looked at subjective SES, how it is interwoven with race for UK students, and its relationship with sense of belonging.

Academics from poorer socio-economic backgrounds are more likely to
- not publish
- have outstanding publication records
- introduce more novel scientific concepts
- less likely to receive recognition, as measured by citations, Nobel Prize nominations, and awards.
