Nice! Can’t wait to see the finished work! Make sure to print a page with at least a QR code that takes people to an about page about you where people can buy more work/follow you/learn more about you and your process and contact you!!
This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY if you use it!

Here’s how I see this opportunity. You can :
1-use it to engage the audience because of the work you do (AI GENERATED)-followers/ digital engagement
2-sell the work.- in person
You can create leads for future sales.
3-capture people’s info for future communication and engagement.

If you are to establish yourself as an artist, you need to make money. I assume the bakery does not take commissions on the sales? $2k investment is significant when you think of time spent producing all of it. How can you at least make people see more of your work, and get them to become buyers?

Make PRINTED signs for each of the pieces!
List in this order:
Piece Title
Artist name
Medium (in your case, is it digitally manipulated photography, or whatever you do to get to the finished product PLUS THE METHOD OF PRINTING)
Size in inches or cm
Print 1/X
SIGN EACH PIECE W/ acid free marker

How many pieces will you be showing? 2 approaches. 1 - show all same size to showcase your work. Go big or go home! 2- vary sizes! Think of 1 piece that is large to showcase the work and smaller sizes that will be affordable thinking of your audience. Whats important DON’t crowd the walls!

Have you sold work previously, or is this your first in person show? I ask so you can establish your price for the work.
Remember that your cost also includes your fixed expenses divided by the pieces you produce. Chat GTP should help with figuring that out!

I think I have more questions than answers at this point.
Do you have any work you can show already framed? Who’s the audience coming to this gallery? What’s the investment you’re looking to make in the prints and framing? Do you already have a price point you sell your

Maybe because the interpretation adds an element that doesn’t belong in what resonates with us in the piece? I’ve had people tell me my interpretation of my work was wrong 🤩 Totally get it! Art will mean something different to each person, even to the artist!

Always! Does what the artist say about the art add to that connection, or not really?
