I know you can't review anything completely without context but I think the review is leaning too heavily on how the reviewer feels about the horrible political situation currently and not the movie as a 'self contained' picture. I mean I don't want to see it anyway but it seems unfair.

Completely agree. I think It's great for games to have a vision when it comes to challenge, and I don't knock any game for sticking to that. But difficulty settings exist for this exact reason, they have for a long time and I don't think they hurt anyone.
