Any chance of a Wicks call up to piggyback? I can’t imagine Rea being able to go more than four innings and they aren’t going to want to decimate the pen right before three in SD

Second straight loss where the bullpen has to work a lot of innings and fails while the guy being paid $5 million to presumably eat innings in a game exactly like this is nowhere to be found. Hope the starters go deep the next couple days, pen will be limited after this one.

Sure. But Brujan is also out of options with no path to playing time right? He’d be behind Berti for any time on the infield. Unless he’s the plan for backup centerfield. Which. Yeesh

Wouldn’t Brujan have made more sense as the corresponding move? Maybe Canario wasn’t going to make the team anyway but I would have thought the Turner signing pushes Brujan out of a spot anyway.
