I mask in indoor spaces and still got the flu and the fever ain't fun. Doing everything to reduce the likelihood of infection should not have to be politically sensitive since it sucks being sick!

The facts you point out opens the possibility that it is a strategy. Reopen the government and then let many people's health insurance premiums skyrocket and let the blame land on Trump. The Dems already made the point. But I don't know if they are capable of that much political coordination...
