I tend to favor my interpretation. I also don’t believe Jesus was fully God while on earth. How could God die on the cross? If Jesus were God, why would He pray to the Father? I’ve never understood why God would pray to God. But it makes sense if Jesus embodied attributes of God.

My interpretation of John 1:14, viewing Jesus as the Word representing God’s Moral Code, along with the Targum Neofiti’s interpretation of this verse, suggests that Jesus being God in the flesh can have two separate meanings. Based on what Jesus says in the Lord’s Prayer,

I’d appreciate it if you could but no worries if you can’t.

In Deuteronomy 5 it states that the Word consists of God’s commandments, rules, and laws. I don’t think it was meant to mean God. But if you know specific verses, I’d like to check them out.

Sounds good! I also get distracted by shiny ideas. I used to say that I can’t wait to procrastinate. 😂 Now, I realize that isn’t helpful. Like it ever was. 😂

I take too long to write. Perfectionism holds me back, but time blocking or working on other things on the side can clear my crowded mind.
