This is probably your best reminder that Amazon Web Services is too big. So is Microsoft, and Google, and all of these companies that are gobbling up money, energy, and resources, only for things to go suddenly arse-up, like today, without being held accountable. There's no space for competition.

He realized that the greatest vulnerability was not code, but the soft, predictable core of Human Identity and Trust—the social engineer. He taught the TIA doctrine that manipulating employees liberates PII faster than any hardware exploit.

The Ultimate Cipher: Architecture of Control
Forget the future. You are already disassembled. Every thought, every keystroke, every whispered location is a harvested asset, feeding a beast whose appetite is total control.

I have been a Linux tinkerer for decades, but never dedicated or distro-loyal. The other day, I had this great and wonderful idea that it was time for a change, a challenge. I have never been much into programming, however it is becoming a thing.

Disenchanted, lost, in the pits of despair
Tormented by the man peering out at me
All scruffy and dirty with unkempt hair
As I gaze deeper, seeking mere clarity
Without regard for things no longer clearer
Shaking my fist at the man in the Mirror
Realizing that he is still a reflection of me

More of an elder student of this thing we call life.
Not here with an agenda or anything of the like, rather just exploring.
