As I understood it*, alt text should describe the visuals and also the emotion that it conveys. But it shouldn’t provide MORE than that, which I have seen often. I’ve noticed some people use it to write in more details than they could fit in their post.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Yeah it’s more fun and it was a new thing for me so I enjoyed the challenge, as it pushed me to learn more skills.

Yeah it was just cuz I wanted to try doing it this way! But you’re right I could’ve just made a website and run that off my phone. Probably would’ve been just as heavy too!

I fear for my wallet that I may end up evolving my setup to that… The few projects I’ve worked on are just with dev boards and connecting gpio pins together, but one day soon I hope to design my own pcb at which point I’ll have to get some equipment! What software do you use for pcb design?

Do you solder each component to the pcb by hand? I’ve never designed a pcb myself so the idea of creating something custom and then putting it together is fascinating
