I promise I'm not a greedy pig, I just want to make enough to buy groceries and heat my home.

But my god, if the mental health focused mural fest isn't going to pay artists, that's kind of bad for the mental health.

Has anyone had an eye on these babies in the snow recently? I haven’t been to the airport in a minute, so if you see them please tell them I say hi and I love them and I hope they’re happy.

Trade war ready! (Egg and I are in fact not trade war ready, and it’s pretty terrifying to enter self employment the same week we pick an economic shit fight with our neighbors)

This painting has been at my workplace for 5 years ever since I saved it from the dumpster. It is my last week at the gallery and today I finally took her home!

So many of my projects have been multi-wall monsters that when it comes to documenting them some entire walls never make it to the internet world. Maybe it's better that way, to leave them in peace? Too many little lines and secrets for a camera to catch.

It is the beginning of the last week before I go off into 100% self-employment. Lots of thoughts on this, but for now happy last Monday commute to me!

“In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows. Nature says, -- he is my creature, and maugre all his impertinent griefs, he shall be glad with me”

Throwback to one of my favorites!

Some pieces just flow out so easily. I just daydreamed and dissociated my way through this painting of St John’s Wort, Chamomile, and clover.

How funny to work on a piece of healing and lucky plants during the week I badly needed both those things.

Thinking about moving toward weird small leaves again. Weird colors, weird branches. Looking inward, looking small.

Been working hard this month! Sending lots of emails, filling out lots of forms. But I haven’t been painting as much. Winter hibernation and all that…there is still time.
