A lovely nuthatch in the garden (a regular visitor) storing some seeds in the tree for later 😁 They’re the only British bird that can walk down a tree head first.

This seems especially apt since ‘kindness’ has been chosen today as the children’s word of the year for 2024 (Oxford University Press survey of children)
