I don’t know Avatar’s music very well, but they put on a helluva fun show. The stage show is excellent and the setlist is a great mix from their catalog.

It’s interesting how many newer bands I can describe as “like Deftones.” I have a feeling in 30 years, when this generation is reminiscing about their inspirations, they’ll talk about Deftones like they’re the fucking Beatles. I ain’t mad at it.
