My beautiful art deco lady is finally finished! I added some metallic thread in a few places and despite how much I hate working with it, it came out exactly like I'd hoped on her bodice. #CrossStitch #ArtDeco

There is a big gray moon behind her, and the fabric is a sparkly tie-dyed black, giving the illusion of a starry night sky.

1 year and 11 days later, my Moroccan lanterns are finished! One of my favorite cross stitch patterns ever!
Moroccan style lantern outlines are cross stitched in black on blue tie-dyed fabric, with various colors inside the lanterns including purples, reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens.

Moved the q snap on my Moroccan lanterns cross stitch project again today, so I thought I'd share another progress photo
Moroccan style lantern outlines are cross stitched in black on blue tie-dyed fabric, with various colors inside the lanterns including purples, reds, oranges, blues and greens. There is a magnetic needle minder in the middle right of the design, shaped like a frog giving the bird, with a needle and a decorative pin attached to it.

My fabric for Gloria's speech from the Barbie movie finally arrived today! I'll be stitching it in black and it's going to be awesome! According to someone in one of my cross stitch groups, DMC 3804 is the closest to Barbie pink, and this fabric is pretty damn close! So excited!
