Oh yeah, I can afford to rename my guild now and am taking suggestions

Belief A million zaps per second, The fires of my mind everburning. As if a million voices demanding To be answered forthwith, concurrently. A song that plays the fragments of A score, pieces of the melody. Cacophony, all of it. And yet, you wouldn’t believe it, would you? You don’t feel what I feel, Hear what I hear. You wouldn’t even know it With the stoicism I bear With levees bearing the surge So that I may function Yet I do not function. A simple tome of simple prose, Yet I find myself lost in the fog, Circling the same tree, the same roots, Finding myself back to the same sentence, The same page, the same words. Eventually giving in to befuddlement, Praying for a spirit to enlighten me. Watching a video, listening to lecture, My hands occupied with the tools of focus. For idle hands are the devil’s plaything And idle hands are idle minds after all. But as I work my pen betwixt my tendrils, As I work my silent incantation, You must think I’m bored, right? You must think I am offended at you passion I wish I could tell you I wasn’t But would you believe me? And when it finally becomes too much When the mask continues to lose friction And when I finally reach out from the shadows, Did you believe me? I’m just anxious, right?
