“Be a nuisance where it counts. Do your part to inform and stimulate the public to join your action. Be depressed, discouraged, and disappointed at failure and the disheartening effects of ignorance, greed, corruption and bad politics—but never give up.”

~ Marjory Stoneman Douglas

"Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble." John Lewis

In preparation for season 2 on 1/17, I'm rewatching season 1 of "Severance" on AppleTV+ AND listening to this podcast with Exec Producer Ben Stiller and star Adam Scott. So good! But the 3-year wait between seasons was enough to send me to the break room. Please enjoy all seasons equally.

My first audiobook of 2025 is a winner. This nonfiction tale of a 25-year-old Englishman’s adventures trying to earn a living when he’s never been a waiter and speaks no French (he lied about both in the interview) is fascinating.
