It was amazing to walk around at Cahokia Mounds State Park, to think that Indigenous people founded and built a huge urban settlement with dozens of platform mounds here a millennium ago.

Book in “Picasso: Drawing from Life” exhibition @ Art Institute of Chicago. It was from one of Picasso’s collaborations that I hadn’t heard of till we went. Can’t remember title of book, will have to make note of it next time we go.
