More than 86 gems were missed, thank god.

This was fine. Basically just play the games and collect all the important things then do what that unlocks. I'm very grateful I didn't have to collect every gem in every level tho, because if I did this doubled up game would not have been on the list lol.

#34. Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.

Is it too mean to say no wonder why platformer mascot died? Eh. I almost didn't like this. But it was passable. And this end image was cute. It took itself too seriously here also, could have used with another orbital laser strike.

#33. Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

No nostalgia attached to this, wanted to give it a shot. It was fine! Similar feelings to Croc. Fun for what it was.

It almost very briefly got real when the cartoon villain murdered Grandpa by orbital lasering his house. But the game sadly moved on quite quickly.

85 triangles have been strategised.

This one, as I feel is the case with games in this genre, was about being THOROUGH. I only missed one collectible which I thought was pretty good! I did have to grind all the extra missions over which was a little irritating, but I still liked the game so eh

#32. Triangle Strategy.

Now here's a video game video game. It takes a bit for a tactics game to grab me and this one starts off a bit slow, but when you get beyond that it's SO so good. The ending routes really turn it up to a higher level and the 'golden' route was a very satisfying pay off.

#31. Gotham stinky Knights.

I remembered I said I'd put games I dropped on here too but I didn't end up dropping that much this year.

Anyway. This game is a hollow imitation of better games with chaff stuffed in to make up playtime. It was not worth giving a chance and is as bad as everyone said.

My friend and I finally returned to this.

I don't know why the fuck I said I didn't hate it last time, maybe we were just in a better mood.

We played one main story mission, it was SO boring, then came back to a menu with 20+ notifications.

8 hours and the game is still barely a game. DROPPED.

It's been almost two weeks and I haven't stopped thinking about Umamusume bringing The Zone into its world.

I want to teach myself how to draw so in 5-10 years I can recreate this image but with horse girls.

Roland's end route in Triangle Strategy is my least favourite in concept. The departure of another party member over this made me emotional!

As if in response to this, the game is now showing me the children of a man it's gonna make me murder in the next mission for sure

classic video games

it's irrational, but I want it in the shadow realm

And Yuta getting to live to be a doting grandad fills me with warmth too :)

Read Jujutsu Aliens and was delighted.

I feel like his energy is back, he just wanted to write about the complications of achieving peace in our time and not another 300 chapter battle I think.

37. Blade Runner.

Watched this again because I'm finally going to watch 2049. And of course it's generational, foundational, great time.

But I made several mistakes. Wasn't Final Cut and I got sucked in to the rabbit hole of all the spin off stuff I didn't know was there until just now. Oops!

I keep calling Sokka a jobber but he's very, very funny.

84 things have been powerfully cleaned.

It's partially the first game's fault I have number go up disease I think.

And once again it's really well designed for this. Play the game, get all the stuff and occasionally do a weird challenge in a level. Perfect for us gross achievement gremlins.

#30. PowerWash Simulator 2.

Well, this sure was a trip. On the technical level it's a sequel where I approve of all the changes that were made. I think it's a better, more fun game.

But this has sentimental value to me! This means something to me! The credits montage made me a bit emotional!!!

36. In the Mouth of Madness.

You ever decide at 3:30 in the morning fuck it, let's watch something on my "should have watched already!" list?

I did and I wasn't disappointed at all. Had a lot of fun with this. The jumpscares kinda made me laugh a little but that's just years of video game brain.

I caught up to this and took on the psychic romcom damage, but what really stands out is how I still genuinely believe this guy to be the peak of romcom protags 😤

Tried to throw the gnome off the mountain and my game froze for about 10 seconds before it landed here and refused to move again.

Intentional part of the game imo

oh.... oh no..........

I had a really good conversation with a friend last night where I felt good about being alive, now I don't feel anything at all

I haven't been as excited by speedrun stuff lately, but I just consumed this video about an FF7 run cheater like a gourmet meal, this is incredible work

#9 Nemesis Games.

My god, I tore through this one. The culmination of 4 books+ worth of groundwork that still has so many places to go. I'm in love with my crew and the supporting characters and everything I think the series is trying to do and say.
