They are constantly saying that trans kids are mentally ill and need help, without the understanding that a majority of gender affirming care is psychological. So they are trying to take away the very thing they insist trans kids need.

It's not like people can really "milk the system" when it comes to LIHEAP. It's a once a year rescue, you can't be behind in your payments, and it may not cover the full bill. Doing away with this assistance is unnecessary cruelty
