Fair enough. Can't normally get canned pumpkin in Australia so I am forced to go full from scratch. Every time I've made pumpkin pie for work it's always at least 2 or 3 peoples' first time eating it. They are usually surprised it's a sweet pie and not savoury!

It's pretty much impossible to get canned pumpkin in Australia, so I've learn to prep it myself (involves cooking pumpkin/squash and then draining all liquid overnight etc). Aussie "pumpkin" makes excellent pies when prepared correctly.
