I mean frankly at this point a lot of indies have to also raise prices to $20 at least because $15 like $60 for AAA doesn't really cut it price wise.

Interesting the PC split for CoD isn't that far off BF? What do overall numbers look like for both?

Awww, we gonna we gonna see a stream of your new puppeh?

I think this film will and should do at least $100M OW DOM.

But a lot of International BO OW looks *dire* outside Brazil & Anglosphere (South Korea & Mexico let alone China look awful)😬.

Assuming $10 X 35 million subs as a rough figure that'd be 4.2 billion in revenue. Surely should outpace running costs quite a bit?

I think that's JonCon setting some wildfire alight which ends up horrifying Dany.

In high CoL US game dev salaries have to compete against big social media companies and the like who pay better and offer better conditions.
July 3, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Yeah, considering where game dev studios are located in the US its insanely expensive. Future AAA gaming is probably going to be lower cost areas of Europe and East Asia.

Elder Scrolls is fine, but a Starfield 2? Won't bet on it.
July 2, 2025 at 6:50 PM
No way that gets canned. Skyrim is the biggest Single Player RPG *of all time*.
July 2, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Am convinced that Starfield 2 won't happen. No way MS allows BGS to juggle Elder Scrolls, Fallout & Starfield. And ES is the biggest (w)RPG Franchise out there.

Fallout 76 is a curse, it screwed the release schedules for Starfield, ESVI & Fallout 5 yet it's their most successful game.

I mean there's a reason why we never say RTX Lovelace Titan & 4090 Tis because all those good AD102 dies went to AI customers basically.
July 2, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Why is Nvidia screwing up with GeForce recently with RTX 50? Because AI is sucking up attention which makes them reluctant to commit properly to gaming.
July 2, 2025 at 5:59 PM
AI is causing huge jumps in share prices + market cap. Pretty obvious how a lot of shareholders are going to react.
July 2, 2025 at 5:58 PM
Shareholders & Executives see the crazy AI gains and GAASes and go "hmmm, why can't you be like that" to other divisions?
