Forgot to add this a few days ago. The emotional intensity here gives this movie its own identity and helps it standout. The acting is phenomenal, the mystery is complex, while this still doesn’t top the original, this was still a strong new entry.

70. Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights In The Sky Are Stars
Has some similar pacing problems to the previous movie, but the highs are still some of the highest from anything I have seen all year, especially the final battle. Watch the show before these though.

Definitely not as good as the first, but still an overall fun time. The places Kevin visits in New York are all fun, several of the supporting players are really enjoyable, and that childlike sense of wonder is still present here even if to a lesser extent.

A major step up from Two Heroes. All of Class 1A get their time to shine, the animation is beautiful, and that final act genuinely has some of the best action in the series so far. Despite some small problems, this was still an awesome watch.

Finally got this done after a while. Similar to Season 3 where the first half is clearly stronger than the second, but this season was still overall a fun time. Great new characters and amazing upgrade to the animation.

Another well written mystery with Benoit Blanc. While I am not sure if I prefer it to the previous film, this one still has entertaining characters, amazing scenery, and an effective complex mystery. The Covid references also took me out.

Way more insane than I expected. While not every joke lands, and the film overall reeks of 90s, it makes up for it in just pure craziness. Especially with the witches who are a blast to watch. Definitely more of a guilty pleasure for me, but I still had fun with this.

Just finished all the grand prixs and yeah this game is a blast. The racing feels smooth though a bit blurry at times, everyone in the roster is fun to play, and the tracks are all bangers. Can’t wait to play more of this in the coming months.

Fun as hfil film with Raimi’s classic blend of darkness and comedy. Some of the stuff in the first half especially went way more off the rails than I expected. And I can now fully see why Ash is considered one of the biggest badasses of the horror genre.

Absolutely up there with some of Bond's best. The action, the villain, the characters, everything here is top tier Bond. Not sure if I fully prefer it to Casino Royale, but to say it's close is the understatement of the century.

Really solid continuation of this universe. While I must admit I have never really been one for dark shows like this, the new concepts here really hooked me. Especially Blade Knight, he was cool. And with how they ended it, I would actually appreciate a Season 2.

This truly was the game of all time. I mainly did a Red Hood playthrough due to him being my favorite of the bunch, but that didn’t really help this game escape the title of Mid. The gameplay is fine, same with the story, but nothing really is stands out as great overall.
