Novo Furniture on Main is pricey but you can build the exact couch you want and it’s local and super high quality! We’ve had a chair an couch from them, both 10+ years old and still in terrific shape.

I saw a guy wearing one at Grounds for Coffee on the Drive (on the patio no less) and I was like, “REALLY? Here?!” Ballsy.

Totally agree on both the book and series. It’s the only book I’ve ever finished and turned over and wanted to start rereading again immediately (I’m not a big rereader).

Haha i recently had the same experience finding my old livejournal. So many bad opinions! I am keeping it in mind as my offspring grows, a reminder that people change. I am sure he will have many bad takes.

My kid really enjoyed The Nameless City books and I just finished them and we love talking about them. We were both really bummed we had to be out of town for Vancaf this year. Looking forward to exploring your other work and watching for your future stuff!
